This page contains links to internet resources for the retrieval and analysis of data relating to genetics and molecular biology. For some of these resources, brief tutorials are provided. These are indicated with a "help" button. Click on the button to access tutorial documents.

On-line databases
Genbank: NIH genetic sequence database, an annotated collection of all publicly available DNA sequences.
Swiss-Prot: An annotated protein sequence database.
REBASE: The Restriction Enzyme Database - "A collection of information about restriction enzymes, methylases, and the microorganisms from which they have been isolated"
PubMed - Medline: Online periodicals index for biology and medicine
