DIRECTIONS & MAPS
From New Jersey Turnpike:Take Exit 9, New Brunswick, Route 18 North. Proceed past New Brunswick and over the John Lynch Bridge crossing the Raritan River. Go left at the traffic light onto River Road. At the second traffic light turn right onto Hoes Lane W (note the street to the left is labeled Johnson Drive). The Waksman Institute is 0.6 mile on the right at the corner of Frelinghuysen Road and Hoes Lane.
From Route 1:
Follow New Brunswick signs to get onto Route 18 North. Follow Turnpike directions above.
From Route 287:
Going North, exit at Bound Brook-Highland Park, Exit 9. Turn left onto River Road toward Highland Park. Go left at the fourth traffic light onto Hoes Lane W (note the street to the left is labeled Johnson Drive). The Waksman Institute is 0.6 mile on the right at the corner of Frelinghuysen Road and Hoes Lane.
Going South, take Bound Brook-Highland Park, Exit 9, bearing right onto River Road toward Highland Park. Go left at the third traffic light onto Hoes Lane W (note the street to the left is labeled Johnson Drive). The Waksman Institute is 0.6 mile on the right at the corner of Frelinghuysen Road and Hoes Lane.
From Garden State Parkway:
Take the GSP north to exit 127 or south to exit 129 to I-287 North. Follow Route 287 directions above.
By Mass Transit:
Taxi service is available from the New Brunswick train station 3.5 miles from the Waksman Institute. Ask for transport to the Waksman Institute building on the Rutgers Busch Campus/ UMDNJ Piscataway Campus. NJ Transit Train Schedules.

Visitor Parking:
There are a limited number of parking spaces at the Waksman Institute that will be available on a first come, first served basis. Additional metered parking is available. From Hoes Lane, turn right into Parking Lot C just before the large sign for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Metered parking is available at the far end of the lot. Additional visitor parking is located in Lot B across Hoes Lane.
